Terms & Refund Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

Natcho is a tiny macOS menu-bar app that hides your MacBook's camera notch behind a true-black strip, with optional rounded screen corners.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Natcho application ("Natcho", "the app") and your purchase of a Natcho Supporter License ("License") from this website. By downloading the app or purchasing a License, you agree to these Terms. The app is provided by Tal Alfi (TalTool) ("we", "us").

1. The application

Natcho is distributed free of charge. All features are available to everyone, with no account and no time limit. The app runs locally on your Mac and is intended for personal and professional use on devices you own or control. It requests no special permissions and does not record your screen.

2. What we sell: the Supporter License

The product offered for purchase on this website is the Natcho Supporter License: a one-time digital purchase for people who want to support continued development.

Natcho (the app): Free

Every feature, forever. No account, no trial wall, no locked corners.

Natcho Supporter License: pay what you want, from $2.99 USD (suggested $9.99), one-time

A thank-you for keeping the project going. The License does not unlock or gate any feature; the app is fully functional without it. It is simply an optional way to support the work.

After a 7-day trial the app keeps working exactly the same; you may see an occasional, dismissible reminder.

3. Payments & billing

All purchases are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC). Lemon Squeezy handles payment, billing, and the collection and remittance of applicable taxes. Your order, receipt, and any tax documents are provided by Lemon Squeezy. The Supporter License is a one-time purchase and is not a subscription; you will not be charged on a recurring basis.

4. Refund policy

Because the License is optional and the app is free to use regardless, we keep refunds simple and generous:

5. License terms

6. Privacy

Natcho stores only small local preferences on your Mac (whether the notch is hidden, whether corners are rounded, launch-at-login, and your trial or license state). It does not collect, transmit, or sell your screen contents, documents, keystrokes, or browsing history. The app's only outbound connections are a version check for updates (via GitHub) and, if you enter a License key, validation of that key with Lemon Squeezy. Purchase data (name, email, payment details) is handled by Lemon Squeezy under their privacy policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

Natcho is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or the License. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
