Padoo lets an iPhone act as a trackpad, air pointer, and app deck for a Mac. It consists of an iPhone app and a companion Mac app.

We collect nothing

Padoo does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no crash reporting service, no account, and no sign-in.

Padoo has no server. There is no backend to send anything to.

What travels between your devices

Padoo's only network traffic is between your iPhone and your Mac, on your own local network or over a cable. That traffic carries:

None of it is recorded, and none of it is sent anywhere else. It exists for as long as it takes to move your cursor.

What stays on your devices

The purchase

Padoo for iPhone runs free for three days, then asks for a one-time purchase. That transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Padoo never sees and never stores your payment details, your Apple ID, or your name - it asks StoreKit a single yes-or-no question: is this app unlocked on this Apple ID? The date your trial started is kept locally on your device and is never transmitted. There is no purchase of any kind in the Mac app, which is free.

Permissions, and why

Children

Padoo is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Padoo collecting nothing is a design decision, not a temporary state.
