Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

FrameNook turns an iPhone into a private hub for photo and video displays that join through a browser on the same local network.

The developer collects no data

FrameNook does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data with the developer. There is no FrameNook account, analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party crash-reporting service.

Your photos, videos, settings, and display list are not uploaded to the developer.

What stays on your device

Deleting media from FrameNook removes its local copy. It does not delete the original from Photos or Files.

What travels on your local network

When you open a FrameNook address on another device, the app sends the player, your slideshow settings, and your selected media directly to that browser over your local Wi-Fi network. Compatible browsers may store a local copy so the display can keep playing. The developer does not receive this traffic.

Apple services

Some optional features communicate with Apple:

Apple handles this information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. It is not sent to the FrameNook developer.

Permissions

Children

FrameNook collects no data from anyone, including children. The app does not contain advertising, social features, messaging, or broadly distributed user-generated content.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
